This main entrance into a power generation station was initially set up with rack drive gate operators, the problem being the gravel driveway created issues where stones and dirt always built up next to the track and thereby caused the gate operator pinion wheel to misalign with the rack fixed to the gate.

A chain drive set up was therefore installed which eliminated the rack misalignment issues and provided a smooth, fast and reliable operating system for the bi parting gates.
